Wingspan: 3.5 inches (9 cm)
Composition: Sterling silver wire, #12 surgical steel
scalpel blades, bronze treble fish hook
Comments: My first hook-tailed dragonfly. The treble
hook in the tail was remarkably vicious to work with. It was
worth it, though. I used the blowtorch to darken almost the
entire wing area, leaving light tips in comparison with the
bluish-black.
